What exactly do I get in a session?
A full hour of dedicated aerial coverage (two hours for Group sessions) — we’re on you from the moment you paddle out, filming every wave you catch until the session clock is done. You get all the raw, unedited 4K/60fps clips, delivered the same day through a private download link.
How does booking and payment work?
Pick a session and request a time on our booking page. Your request sits as pending while we check the swell, wind, and tides for your window — nothing is charged until we confirm. Once it’s a go, you’ll get a confirmation email with a secure card payment link (or Venmo). Paying locks in your session.
What should I wear so the drone can find me?
Wear something that stands out — a colored rash guard or top, a bright hat, or ride a board with some color. It makes you easy to identify in a crowded lineup and honestly just looks better in the footage. We’ll confirm what you’re wearing before you paddle out.
How do we communicate while I’m in the water?
If you have an Apple Watch, we can use walkie-talkie or text right in the lineup — perfect for “move 20 yards north,” wave counts, or the last-wave call. No watch? No problem — we’ll set up simple hand signals from the beach before your session.
What if the conditions are poor on my day?
If the wind is too strong for safe drone operation or the swell disappears, we reschedule at no cost. That’s the whole reason we confirm your date and time against the forecast before you pay.
Where do you fly?
We operate on Oahu. Flight locations are dictated by FAA airspace rules, local DLNR regulations, and conditions — popular legal zones include breaks on the South Shore, West Side, and North Shore. We confirm airspace clearance before your booking. Our pilots are FAA Part 107 certified.
When and how do I get my footage?
Same day. Your clips are organized by date, spot, and time and delivered through a private download link — MP4/MOV files that drop straight into Final Cut, your iPhone, or Instagram.
Do you edit the videos?
The session includes the raw, high-resolution clips. Full editing, color grading, and social reels are available as custom add-ons — just ask.
Can I bring a friend?
That’s what the Group session is for — dedicated coverage for up to two surfers over two hours. Split the cost and you’ve both got footage.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
Life happens — tell us at least 24 hours before your session and we’ll rebook you at no charge. Inside 24 hours or no-shows may forfeit the session payment. And if we have to call it off for conditions, you always reschedule free.
